Colours
We offer traditional colours such as Rosewood and Golden Oak from stock, plus a wide selection of further colour options on different lead times. Hardware is available in White, Chrome or Graphite, with flush fitting exterior handles available for homeowners. Our uPVC patio doors are also available in a trendy grey substrate. These frames are normally manufactured with a white internal finish to maintain a bright, fresh interior, but some colours are available on both sides of the door frame. Smooth or matte grey foil options can also be ordered by the customer, which have a special ‘cool colours’ heat reflective pigment base to reduce expansion on hot days.
Large glass surface areas within a durable uPVC system
The outstanding feature that makes these uPVC patio doors so popular, is the grey substrate option. With a entirely grey frame instead of just a surface foil, there’s no hint of the white uPVC core, even when the door is opened. This allows homeowners to enjoy the look of aluminium without choosing the more expensive premium aluminium glazing option. Because patio doors are open for extended periods of time on warm days, it also makes for much cleaner lines by doing away with the exposed white sash core.
Our uPVC patio doors achieve PAS24 standards, which means homeowners can meet Document Q - the newest security regulations for uPVC patio doors and other similar renovations. Plus, these frames offer improved strength, security and weather performance. The patio doors meet BS 6375 as standard due to their improved security, strength and weather performance. Manufactured on site at GJB in Essex by our experienced team, and quality checked by us; we guarantee a great quality finished product.
These sustainable frames are manufactured using at least 40% PCW (post consumer waste). uPVC patio doors supplied by GJB offer high performing levels of thermal efficiency with U-values as low as 1.3W/m²K for double glazed units and 1.0W/m²K for triple glazed ones.
In addition to being manufactured using recycled uPVC material, these uPVC patio doors can achieve high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation efficiency. Built by trusted and experienced manufacturers, this isn’t just one of the most strong and durable patio doors on the market. These doors also offer better sustainability, design and performance – for you and your customers.
